The suspect — David Baril — has been arrested eight times for varies offenses, including assaulting a cop and jumping over the counter at a KFC restaurant and punching an employee.
Therman Frazier, 53, a telemarketer in Herald Square, said the city isn’t doing enough to keep people safe.
“You’ve got people out here on drugs, or the wrong drugs, who aren’t in their right minds.”
The suspect, David Baril was captured Wednesday, May 13, 2015; A silver hammer with a black handle similar to the one described in the series of attacks Monday was recovered at the scene.
