The Christian Bible word outlines God's list of 10 Commandments.
I have found that if they are followed, people do not get into trouble.
What is your experience with authority?
My one thought about lawless gangs, or any kind of lawless mob, is that they are committing the exact same sins, only worse, that they claim law enforcement is doing to them.
Rarely, it happens with law enforcement. Always, it happens with gangs.
Always, gangs commit violence first, and in mass. There is no moral code followed.
Violence for the sake of violence. Not for good. That is immoral and inhumane.
That is terrorism.
Biblical Law:
The Ten Commandments, also known as the Decalogue, are a set of commandments which the Bible describes as being given to the Israelites by God at biblical Mount Sinai. The Ten Commandments appear twice in the Hebrew Bible, first at Exodus 20:1-17, and then at Deuteronomy 5:4-21. According to the story in Exodus, God inscribed them on two stone tablets, which he gave to Moses. Modern scholarship has found likely influences in Hittite and Mesopotamian laws and treaties, but is divided over exactly when the Ten Commandments were written and who wrote them.
Commandment #6 in EVERY version states:
::::::::::::::::"You shall not murder":::::::::::::::::::
Breaking God's law carries it's own set of consequences, which vary according to belief.
:::::::::The 10 Commandments List, Short Form:::::::::
You shall have no other gods before Me.
You shall not make idols.
You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Honor your father and your mother.
You shall not murder.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet.
:::::::::The 10 Commandments List in Exodus 20:2-17::::::::::
“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
“You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.
“You shall not murder.
“You shall not commit adultery.
“You shall not steal.
“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”
:::::::The 10 Commandments List in Deuteronomy 5:6-21:::::::
“I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
“Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the LORD your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you. And remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the LORD your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
“Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.
“You shall not murder.
“You shall not commit adultery.
“You shall not steal.
“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife; and you shall not desire your neighbor’s house, his field, his male servant, his female servant, his ox, his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”

In Islam, they state:
The Qur'an includes a version of the Ten Commandments in sura Al-An'am 6:151:
"Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": Join not anything with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want;- We provide sustenance for you and for them;- come not nigh to indecent deeds. Whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom. And come not nigh to the orphan's property, except to improve it, until he attain the age of full strength; give measure and weight with (full) justice;- no burden do We place on any soul, but that which it can bear;- whenever ye speak, speak justly, even if a near relative is concerned; and fulfill the Covenant of Allah. thus doth He command you, that ye may remember."
Another Chapter of The Qur'an also includes a version of the Ten Commandments in Al-Isra According to Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas °the verses of Chapter 17 Al-Isra are the Quranic version of the ten Commandments:
Commandment 1 Verse 22 "Set not up with Allah any other ilah (god), (O man)!"
Commandment 2 Verse 23 "And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour." Verse 24 "And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small."
Commandment 3 Verse 26 "And give to the kindred his due and to the Miskin (poor) and to the wayfarer. But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift ."
Commandment 4 Verse 29 "And let not your hand be tied (like a miser) to your neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach (like a spendthrift), so that you become blameworthy and in severe poverty."
Commandment 5 Verse 31 "And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Surely, the killing of them is a great sin."
Commandment 6 Verse 32 "And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse."
Commandment 7 Verse 33 "And do not kill anyone which Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause."
Commandment 8 Verse 34 "And come not near to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full strength."
Commandment 9 Verse 35 "And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight."
Commandment 10 Verse 36 "And follow not (O man i.e., say not, or do not or witness not, etc.) that of which you have no knowledge (e.g. one's saying: "I have seen," while in fact he has not seen, or "I have heard," while he has not heard). Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those you will be questioned (by Allah)."

Our law says that one citizen may not take another citizen's life away from them for any reason. No reason is sufficient to commit murder: What God giveth, only God may taketh away. That is the law we all live under in the United States of America, so that we all may live in peace and prosperity, no matter what religion people belong to. There are no exceptions.
Breaking those laws, mean that prosperity disappears. Peace is not within reach as long as people harm other people willfully.
Instead, use words to address disagreements, to co-operate with both sides making consessions to come to an agreement that allows people to live side-by-side, overcome problems, and turn prior disagreements into new ways to achieve success.
It means tolerance of traditions and thoughts that are not your own as long as they do not break the laws of our country; so that you yourself can learn and grow from the experience of new friends.
Gang rules violate the laws of our country.
You are your own worst enemy.
Muslim law teaches to take the law into your own hands if unspecified qualifications are observed.
You are your own worst enemy.
Both groups have rules that defeat the survival of their own cultures, and seek to blame others for their own failure.
Blame hurts, it does not heal the reason success is out of reach.
Changing rules to align with the laws of the country you live in puts success in your hands.
The law is for law enforcement and the court system to administer in the United States of America, by the LAW of the people as written and signed by
the Constitution of the United States of America.
I don't see anything in the commandments (not "suggestions") that will get anyone into trouble, nothing that encourages anyone to cause harm.
I see many "rules" gangs have that encourage breaking the law and causing harm.
Why aren't people trying to discuss this instead of hurting people all the time? There have been enough people hurt and killed.
Violence solves nothing, only creates feelings of oppression in the opposing party.
Violence gives nothing but disrespect. Coherent speech gains respect.
Violence means you will be treated with nothing except violence in return. Why make a choice like that? That is not smart.
I have found that if they are followed, people do not get into trouble.
