Terms of Service for "We The People" Discussion Board
(In addition to all the terms of service that apply as you accepted when becoming a member)
Details that protect every board members' right to use and transform ideas and information for their own purposes to be used in ways applicable to each. This is not where you should be discussing ideas that you wish to retain your intellectual property rights. In the same respect; it is not a place to make for-profit deals. Engagement in for-profit deals is expressly prohibited.
Outside Intellectual Property rights are respected by Proboards Forums and by Law; infringements reported will be removed.
The discussion board "We The People" is maintained free of charge; use at your own risk.
Emotions are expected to be maintained at respectful levels; if you feel yourself escalating into death threats and threats of violence, take a break and come back after you have yourself back under control. Violence and death threats will get your membership revoked immediately.
"We The People" Discussion board offers the protection of Free Speech by all members. Death threats will not be tolerated. Violence will not be tolerated. Individual right to religious freedom takes precedence, as it is a right in and of itself and must be respected within the bounds of the Constitustion of the United States of America.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
constitutioncenter.org/constitution/the-amendments/amendment-1-freedom-of-religion-press-expression
"The First Amendment also protects the right not to associate, which means that the government cannot force people to join a group they do not wish to join. A related right is the right to petition the government, including everything from signing a petition to filing a lawsuit."
It is a right that is upheld on these boards for the good of all participants. It is not for one person to force acceptance of a personal choice over and above themselves as a person. In other words: if someone is discussing same-sex marriage and you do not like that, then go discuss something else and leave them alone to enjoy their freedom. In the same respect, if someone is discussing The Pope/Catholicism and you do not like that, then go discuss something else and let them enjoy their freedom. Those are just a few of the topics people become heated about as examples: the concept is not limited.
If someone is discussing unethical force in society for or against anything, then by all means discuss with logic not heat.
Wether it is a religious group or a special interest group, everyone has a protected right to participate or not according to individual choice. Accepting that others have equal rights to those you accept for yourself, is called Tolerance. Tolerance is actively taught, practiced, and supported here.
Hate speech is defined as attacks directed at a person or group on the basis of attributes such as gender, ethnic origin, religion, race, disability, or sexual orientation, and is discouraged. It is acceptable to say no.
The simple differences between countries may cause misunderstanding; please be kind and make allowances for that.
The protection of Free Speech means infractions of good manners must be corrected by participants in a polite manner to avoid arguments.
Here you are encouraged to make new friends and discuss anything that concerns you.
Be aware that ideas you share may be used by other people without profit to you, to create a real change in the world.
You are welcome to add your loved ones' events to the Remembrance List at the bottom of the front page.
Please feel free to speak freely and openly about anything, but do try to remember basic good manners. Thank You!
You have specific religious beliefs because of the parents and the traditions of the place to which you were born, please respect that fact, and right, of others.
"We The People" is a not-for-profit discussion is board personally maintained; No monetary donations are accepted for any reason.
"We The People" Discussion board is a Global general user board; please be aware that others will think differently than you. Please respect and allow for those differences in your discussions.
